June 2026 - Summary Assist Update

AI Generated Content Notification Included In Files

All files for Summary Assist and First Draft Transcripts will contain an additional sentence at the end of the file noting that the content is generated using automated tools and should be checked for accuracy. For customers who manually download these files or those using the Guidewire integration to automatically import these files, this notification helps to maintain the clarity of authorship and source for these files.
 

The notification included when downloaded via web site in the First Draft Transcript file. Nofication included when using the file-download API and Guidewire Integration in the Summary Assist and First Draft Transcript files.

First Draft Transcripts downloaded will now contain the AI content notification.

Summary Content changes

The Summary Assist feature is updated to provide even better summaries on all statement types.

• Summary length and content are more dynamic. Longer calls will receiver longer summaries. Short calls will have shorter summaries. Test, voicemail, and other non-statement calls are summarized simply in a sentence or two.
• Auto incidents: Inclusion of 4-5 lines at top that detail Interviewee, Other Party, Damages, Injuries and Purpose of Trip.
• Auto incidents: Refined the data that is included in the summary. The length of the summary is increased if many detailed questions are asked.
• Certain sensitive information is mentioned as present, but no longer included in the summary.

We have a proprietary quality scoring model for our summaries and this new version shows a marked improvement above our prior generation.

Interviewee: Marcus Taylor - 2019 Honda Accord

Other Party: Silver Toyota Camry

Damages: Rear bumper damaged; other vehicle had cracked front bumper and bent hood.

Marcus Taylor reported he was involved in a rear-end collision on September 12, 2024, while stopped at a red light on Poplar Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee. Mr. Taylor stated he was the sole occupant of his 2019 Honda Accord and was waiting for the light to change when he felt an impact from behind. The other vehicle was a silver Toyota Camry that struck the rear of Mr. Taylor's vehicle. Mr. Taylor reported the rear bumper of his Accord was significantly damaged in the middle, while the other vehicle sustained a cracked front bumper and a bent hood. Weather conditions at the time were clear and sunny with dry roads. Memphis PD responded to the scene and completed a crash report, and the other driver received a citation for following too closely. Mr. Taylor stated the other driver apologized and said she did not see him stop in time, and Mr. Taylor reported no injuries from the collision.
